Join us for a contemplative morning in nature with Geshe
Tenzin Legtsok. We will walk a
3-mile
loop trail in
Long Ridge Open Space Preserve,
beginning from State Highway CA 35 and
winding through a forest of live oak and Douglas fir to a
ridgetop with ocean views. The total elevation gain is 335
feet.
As before, we will begin by setting a motivation, walk the
first half in silence, meditate together for about 30
minutes, share a few reflections, and then enjoy a relaxed
walk back to our cars.
Please bring a small towel or blanket for sitting.
Advance registration is required to attend.
Directions from Saratoga
Take Highway 9 west to the junction with Highway 35. Turn right onto CA 35/Skyline Blvd. and continue for 2.6 miles. The gravel parking area will be on your left—just past the driveway for Jikoji Zen Center and directly across from a small field with several rows of grapevines.
