Fridays, February 16 – March 8, 2024 8:00am – 9:15am PST (Pacific Standard Time) (4 sessions) We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this event. Please register below to receive your online access information. Mindfulness meditation is a simple yet deeply nourishing practice that can have profound and lasting effects. The aim of this course is to cultivate mindfulness as a practice for our daily lives — to learn to stop and breathe into presence, and to take our practice further if we have one already.
The practices in this course include mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, thoughts and loving kindness, and a spacious awareness of whatever arises in our moment-to-moment experience. Classes will be a mix of teaching, formal meditation practice and Q&A. We will build on the formal meditation practice each week to increase our capacity for mindful presence. This course is suitable for beginner meditators and those who already have a mindfulness meditation practice. New students are welcome, as it is not necessary to have attended the previous mindfulness course. |
