Meditations for Building Inner Strength – The 16 Guidelines

with Casey Chainee

Eight Wednesday evenings
September 18 – November 13, 2024
7:00pm – 8:00pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time)
in person at the center

No session on October 30. You are invited to attend The Science of Happiness: Cultivating Positive Emotions with Don Handrick.

The 16 Guidelines Meditation Series is based on the 16 Guidelines for Life, an ethics and resilience program to build inner strength and cultivate positive inner qualities.

This 8 week module will focus on meditations that uncover how we think and how we act and their influence on our life experiences of joy and pain. Each week’s analytical meditation will explore a universal attitude rooted in the foundations of compassion and wisdom.

Being wisely in control of our mind allows us to connect to a spacious inner peace and joy that makes us less susceptible to external ups and downs. The goal of the 16 Guidelines is to help you create long term happiness and fulfillment for yourself and others.

These meditations are suitable for beginner to advanced meditators. You are welcome to drop in for 1 session or attend all 8 sessions.

If you would like to experience greater peace, ease, connection, and meaning then these meditations are for you.

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
