This course offers students a complete overview of the
entire spiritual path taught by the Buddha and arranged in
Tibet into a logical progression making it easy to
understand and practice. Everything the Buddha taught is
presented in the correct sequence for developing the
individual human mind. Known in Tibet as the steps of the
path to enlightenment — The Lam Rim.
This genre of teaching is found in every major Tibetan
Buddhist tradition, and experience has shown it to be
perfectly suited to the spiritual seeker of today. This
course offers explanation, meditation, question and answer
and discussion.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Venerable Tenzin Namjong
studied and trained in Zen and Theravada traditions before
embracing the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, due mainly to
the kindness of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa
Rinpoche.
He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Princeton University
and has been part of the 19 year Geshe study program at
Sera Je Monastery
in South India since 2007.
Venerable Namjong is a registered
teacher of the FPMT and he regularly teaches at FPMT
centers in India.
