Discovering Buddhism, Module 7
Refuge in the Three Jewels
Tuesdays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
October 21 – November 18, 2014
(5 classes)
What makes someone a Buddhist?
A Buddhist is a person who takes refuge in the Buddha, the
Dharma, and the Sangha — the "Three Jewels." Find out more
about the Three Jewels, what taking refuge actually means,
and why the Three Jewels are suitable objects of refuge. We
will also explore the essential practices of refuge.
Everyone is welcome!
Although it is part of the Discovering Buddhism program,
anyone is welcome to attend — you do not have to have
attended previous modules.
