Qigong Workshop with Larry Wong

Larry Wong

Qigong* Daoist Longevity Workshop
Sunday 2:00-4:00pm

♦ April 29th

Larry has kindly agreed to come from San Francisco to teach at our center in Campbell.  He will share techniques on “How to Assess Yourself,” with a beginning level introduction to the “5 Element,” also known as “Wu Xing” or “5 Phase” system.

The Chinese movements in this workshop promote health and longevity by stimulating the chi to directly benefit most areas and functions of the body including the meridian pathways and energy channels.  The exercises involve self-massage, stretches, patting/ tapping, and repetitive movements.

You will learn to select and combine exercises according to your health condition and needs.  A great way to start the day and some of the massage techniques can be done even while still in bed!  Some basic Chinese medicine theory will be shared for a better understanding of each exercise.  This workshop is suitable for all ages and levels of experience.

Larry Wong has studied, taught, and practiced with the Heartsong School of Perception Expansion, the Healing Buddha Foundation, and the Acupressure Institute – all of Berkeley.   He has been teaching private lessons since 1988 as well as classes with many public and private organizations, including schools, corporations, and health care institutions.
