This is the annual celebration of the life of Lama Je Tsongkhapa, Losang Drakpa (1357-1419), the founder of our lineage. The Tibetan lunar calendar and the Jewish lunar calendar usually line up so that Lama Tsongkhapa Day coincides with the beginning of Hanukkah (as it does this year).    Learn more…

The Bodhisattva’s Jewel Garland is a short text composed by the Indian Mahayana spiritual master Dipamkara Shrijñana (972–1054).  Known more popularly as Lord Atisha, this holy teacher travelled to Tibet at a somewhat advanced age and taught there for the remainder of his life, a period of some thirteen years. Refuge Vow Ceremony at Tse Chen Ling – Nov 13, 2011

Geshe Ngawang Dakpa will be conferring Refuge Vows and Lay Vows in a ceremony on November 13 (2011), 10am, at Tse Chen Ling, San Francisco.
