New Registration & Membership Program

REJOICE!
The Gyalwa Gyatso Buddhist Center’s Board of Directors is happy to announce an updated, improved Membership program.  As many of you know, the center was on the brink of closing the doors just prior to the successful year end Matching Donation Fund Raiser.  In reviewing how we might better help you to help GGBC, we’ve changed the membership program in hopes of encouraging more of you to become new members or increase your membership level.  GGBC’s expenses run approximately $1,000 to $1,500 more per month than our usual donations. We hope increased membership donations will significantly decrease this recurring year end concern.

NEW MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
The new membership gives members at the $30+ monthly level a 10% discount on all classes and events. The Board also has extended the benefit of a waived class fee for Discovering Buddhism classes or Basic Program classes for members at the $120+ monthly level.  Please check out the New Membership Program on our website.

NEW PRE-REGISTRATION AND CLASS CHECK IN
GGBC will expand the pre-registration process to ensure that all our existing and new members receive the discount.  To help us with this, please register in advance for all classes whenever possible. There will also be a discount for non-members who pre-register.  Of course, we are always happy to see you even if you’ve been unable to pre-register.  We will ask everyone to check in at the door, and if you haven’t pre-registered, we will be happy to take care of it then.  If you are unable to contribute at the registration amount, please see Dave Jeffords to let him know what you can afford.

WORK STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
As always, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are unable to contribute at all financially, please see Dave Jeffords to arrange a work study. If you have a work study arrangement, this will be noted on our registration listing with a code when you check in.

MAKING MERIT
In order to help with the class check in, we need some helpers who are available to arrive early to help at the door.  Please let Dave know if you can help us with this.
