Introduction to Lamrim Meditationwith Ven. Katy Cole
Wednesdays, 6:00pm – 7:00pm February 10 – March 17, 2021 (6 sessions) We are using the Zoom video conferencing system for this event. Please register below to receive your online access information. The lamrim, stages of the path, is a core topic of study in our Buddhist tradition. The lamrim provides a concise and easily graspable picture of the Buddhist path. Transformation comes not only from study, but from thinking about the topics and doing analytical meditation on them, to make them a part of our lives.
Venerable Katy will give us an introduction on how to approach the lamrim teachings through analytical meditation, beginning with instruction on how to sit, calm, and focus the mind before moving on to some of the lamrim topics. She will also touch on concentration and visualization in meditation. |
